Termite Control Regional

Termites eat wood from the inside out, defying detection for years while doing extensive damage. By building ingenious mud tubes, termites can cross many feet of concrete, brick, and cinder block, treated wood or metal shields, making it possible to reach the upper floors of a structure.

Without any notice, they can cause millions of dirhams in a year worth of damage to any of your investment.

Let our Licensed Supervisors inspect your home or building today to stop termites invading your investments.

TREATMENTS

Unlike other forms of pest control where the eradication of the nest is the major objective, the basis for success is to eliminate the insect's source of food and water. This can be achieved by establishing a chemical barrier through which the termites cannot pass and survive.

ANTI TERMITE PRE-CONSTRUCTION TREATMENT

Pre-construction treatments are defined to include treatments made during all phases of construction up to and when the concrete slab is poured. Regional achieve effective pre-construction termite control by the establishment of vertical and horizontal chemical barriers using an aqueous Termiticide Solution.

I. HORIZONTAL BARRIERS

Application with a coarse low pressure spray at a specific rate wherever treated soil will be covered by slab, such as footing trenches, slab floors, carports and the soil beneath stairs and crawl spaces. If f slab will not be poured the same day as treatment, the treated soil will be covered with a waterproof barrier such as polyethylene sheeting.

II. VERTICAL BARRIERS

Areas such as around the base of foundations, plumbing, utility entrances, back-filled soil against foundation walls and other critical areas must be treated to create a vertical barriers.

A low-pressure spray is applied or "flooding" a prepared trench at a specific rate for every 30cm footing depth and distribute the treatment as evenly as possible on the soil.
Trenching will be along the external walls of the building similar to stage 1 of the specification and spraying of Termiticide Solution creates a chemical barrier around the building.

ANTI-TERMITE POST COSTRUCTION TREATMENT

Post-construction treatments are considered more laborious and expensive operations since the area to be treated is either already constructed or under construction. In any ready constructed building and in which the ground slab has been laid down, the treatment is carried out by injecting Termiticide Solution under the ground slab.

STAGE 1 – TREATMENT TO SOIL IN EXTERNAL PERIMETER
Perimeter drilling of holes 11mm in diameter, 50cms apart and 75mm distance from the inside/outside flooring of the building. Application of pressure of Termiticide Solution into each drilled hole at a specific rate per linear meter. This will create an invincible barrier against termite.

STAGE 2 – TREATMENT TO WOODEN FIXTURE
Holes 11mm in diameter will be drilled to a sufficient depth at the base of wooden members such as door frames and built-in cabinets inset in the flooring and Termiticide Solution will be injected. It will also be sprayed on wooden fixtures that are infested by termites.

STAGE 3 – ERADICATION OF TERMITE MUD-TUNNELS
Visible mud-tunnels will be injected with Termiticide Solution and will be destroyed to kill any live termites in the hideouts.
